ASTROFIT - "ASTRONOMY FELLOWSHIPS IN ITALY" 1st Call
INAF, the National Institute for Astrophysics, is pleased to announce
the launch of the AstroFIt Programme, in co-funding with the European
Commission's 7th Framework Progamme, under the Marie Curie Action
COFUND. The programme offers seven transnational grants enabling
researchers from abroad to carry out a project in one of the INAF
structures in Italy, for a period of two years.
The research areas that can be covered at OAPa in the framework of
computational fluid dynamics and high performance computing are:
- stars, stellar population and interstellar medium;
- Sun and solar system;
- relativistic and particle astrophysics.
AstroFIt call 1, funds:
- N. 3 Incoming Mobility fellowships.
Applicants must have not resided or carried out their main activity
(work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3
years immediately prior to the call deadline.
- n. 4 Reintegration Mobility fellowships.
Applicants must be Italian nationals who have carried out research
in a Third Country (1) for at least 3 years in the last 4 years prior
to the call deadline.
To be eligible, researchers must be holders of a doctorate or have at
least 4 years of research experience.
Publication Date: 1 December 2011
Deadline for submission of applications: 1 February 2012

Countries.

The Associated Countries are: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia,
Faroe Islands, FYR Macedonia, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Montenegro,
Norway, Serbia, Republic of Moldova, Switzerland and Turkey.
